Included in the space are colored backdrops, installed LED lighting, c-stands, sandbags & other grip equipment. This space is not for the creation of any type of wet or dry media, class or group meetings, musical performances, or lectures. This shooting space is intended as a clean room for documenting work or shooting photo/video. Media Center Documentation Space (280BLDG 110) Your Articard ID will allow you access to the room during your reservation time. ![]() You MUST reserve a computer station in order to use the lab. Once you are certified, you will be able to reserve a space in the lab through the Media Center’s Patron Portal under the ‘Room Reservation’ checkout center. After the course is completed, you will receive an email with a link to a Google Form that must be completed in order to fulfill your access to the lab. Students can be certified by completing the quick online course here. The lab has robust computers with software that includes Final Cut Pro X, Max 6, Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe CS6, etc, as well as Cintiq monitors and pens at each station. The Digital Editing Lab, located in the MacLean building room 819, is intended for advanced audio or video editing or post-production. Included in booth is a microphone stand and a microphone pop filter. Whisper Room (MC 418 & 419)Ī small sound proof recording booth is available for professional quality vocal/instrumental recording. Included in the space is a documentation stand, a table and a chair. GENERAL Access Labs Sharp Documentation Room (SP 336) Anyone wishing to use campus facilities after hours must obtain an overnight pass here. however, overnight access is available, including to those who have a studio in 33 East Washington. and building entrances will be locked from 11:00 p.m. Beginning September 1, building security desks will be staffed from 7:00 a.m. The editing and production facilities circulated from the Media Centers are available for Overnight Access. Access is limited to Same Day & Overnight usage only for these spaces. Reservations are required and follow regular Media Center equipment policies. The Media Center facilitates access to the following Editing & Production Labs.
